Green Home

This house design conceptualizes a green home with four main environmental aspects. Using a vacant lot in Malibu as the template, I created a model home which features 1) a circular shape with a buried foundation for energy efficiency, 2) an untreated bio pool for water reclamation and natural filtration, 3) in-ground planter boxes to integrate the indoors with the outdoors for mental health and organic produce benefits, and 4) a dug in foundation for peak thermal insulation and minimal material usage.

It was also selected as a project for a university specific international design showcase and magazine called "Nature by Design."
